Pinot Grigio - white wine
Description: Pinot Grigio is an italian white wine, bright, yellow straw-coloured wine with delicate pink hues. The aroma is characterized by a bouquet that recalls ripe apple and peach. Soft and silky in the mouth, persistent with a slightly bitter finish.
Grapes: Pinot Grigio.
Vineyard area: Friuli Latisana DOC district, 30 Kms southwest of Udine.
Type of soil: Compact clay.
Cultivation system: Guyot and Silvoz.
Vinification: Partial cryo-maceration of the skins and subsequent fermentation carried out at a controlled temperature.
Aging: In steel tanks.
Best served with: Perfect with vegetable soufflés, starters and seafood dishes.
